Abilene – Auto Crash on Interstate 20 Leaves 1 Injured

The Abilene Police Department is currently investigating a vehicle accident on Interstate 20 which happened last December 2nd.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred on I-20 involving a Penske truck. Police said the truck was seen traveling along the highway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it went out of control and rolled over a number of times. The driver was trapped inside the wreckage and was extricated by local paramedics upon arrival. He was rushed to a local hospital with injuries that were considered non-life-threatening.

No other injuries were reported.

Area investigators are still determining the reason that caused the driver to lose control of the truck.
