A pedestrian was pronounced deceased after getting hit by a train on East Front Street last November 11.

According to the report, the incident took place on November 11 at around 2:00 a.m. A man, identified only as a 65-year-old male pedestrian, was seen walking down the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, he was struck by a passing train. The impact of the crash seriously injured the man. He was then rushed to the nearest hospital where he was given proper medical treatment. Unfortunately, last Thursday, the victim succumbed to the injuries he sustained from the crash.

His identification has yet to be released.

The Arlington Police Department is leading the investigation.
