Austin – Two Seriously Injured in a Two-Car Accident on Decker Lane

At least two people were sent to a hospital after a major car accident on Decker Lane, Wednesday afternoon.

According to a local news source, a vehicle accident took place just after 4:00 p.m. in the 10300 block of Decker Lane near Walter East Long Metropolitan Park. Details surrounding the incident are very limited at this time but it was confirmed that two occupants were thrown off the vehicle as a result of the crash.

The first victim, identified only as a man in his 50s was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with a serious trauma. The second victim, identified as a man his 30s, was transported to the same hospital via ATCEMS ambulance. Authorities said that he sustained potentially serious injuries.

The crash is under investigation by the Austin Police Department.
