Colleyville – Auto vs Pedestrian Collision on Heritage Avenue

A teen was sent to a hospital after getting hit by a car on Heritage Avenue, Tuesday morning.

At around 7:30 a.m., DPS troopers were called onto the 5400 block of Heritage Avenue in response to a call reporting a vehicle accident. Initial investigation indicates that a teen was attempting to cross the roadway, in front of the Heritage Middle School, when he was hit by a passing vehicle. The victim, who was only identified as a 14-year-old teen, sustained injuries from the force of the impact. He was immediately taken to Cook Children’s Hospital where he received further medical treatment. His condition was not disclosed at this time.

Police did not provide details about the driver of the vehicle involved. He was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
