The Dallas Police Department has identified the victim who died in a deadly vehicle collision on Interstate Highway 30 last November 29.

The fatality was named 45-year-old George Zamora.

According to initial reports, a black Chevrolet pickup truck was seen traveling along the eastbound lane of I-30 when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crashed into another vehicle as it approaches Hotel Street. The force of the impact sent Zamora out of the vehicle, leaving him seriously injured. A few moments later, Zamora was then struck by a vehicle. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, he had already succumbed to his injuries.

No one else was injured.

The driver of the car that struck Zamora escaped the scene. His location was not immediately determined.
