Ector County – Vincent Delk Killed in ATV Collision on Quartz Street

The Odessa Police Department has released the name of the victim who died in a fatal ATV crash on Quartz Street last Monday.

The fatality was identified as 48-year-old Vincent Delk.

According to initial reports, Delk was operating an all-terrain vehicle in the area of Quartz and Line Street, just about 15 miles south of Odessa. At around 12:10 a.m., a Pontiac Aztek attempted to make a turn towards Lime and crashed into the ATV. The impact left Delk with serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.

No one else was injured.

Details surrounding the accident are yet to be released. The investigation is still in progress.
