Fort Bend – Bicycle Accident on Trammel-Fresno Road

Fresno law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about a fatal vehicle crash involving a bicycle on Trammel-Fresno Road.

According to the initial investigation, the incident took place at the 1400 block of Trammel-Fresno Road near Illinois Street. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a person with serious injuries lying in the ground. Local paramedics attempted to administer life-saving measures on the victim but to no avail. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

No information about the driver was released but it was confirmed that he did stay at the scene and is cooperating with the police.

Local investigators were also requested at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the accident.
