Fort Worth – Auto vs Pedestrian Accident on University Dr

A man was injured after getting hit by a vehicle on South University Drive near Texas Christian University.

At around 3:30 p.m., Fort Worth local officials responded to South University Dr near West Bowie Street to assist in a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. According to initial reports, a man was hit by an unidentified vehicle leaving him injured. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. An ambulance was requested at the scene but it was not confirmed if he was given treatment on scene or transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
