Irving – Car Accident on SH 183 Leaves 1 Dead, Several Injured

A fatal auto collision on State Highway 183 resulted in the death of one person and injuries to several people, a local news source reported.

According to police reports, a vehicle was seen heading west on State Highway 183 when it crashed into another car, for yet unknown reasons. The first car ended up in the concrete divider, seriously damaging its passenger side. The passenger in the first car along with several occupants in the second sustained various injuries from the force of the impact. They were all transported to the nearest hospital for further medical care. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed by emergency crews.

The Irving Police Department is gathering more information about the incident. They have yet to determine what caused both drivers to collide with each other.
