League City – Auto vs Pedestrian Crash on Main Street

The driver who struck a pedestrian and fled the scene of the crash on West Main Street has been arrested by police, a local news source reported.

According to police reports, a vehicle was seen traveling along W Main Street last November 27th when it struck a woman, leaving her seriously injured. The woman, identified as 24-year-old Victoria Santillan, was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries the day after.

No other injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was arrested for hit-and-run charges and will go through a sobriety test after police found alcohol in his vehicle. He was later identified as 22-year-old Coleman Weber.

Local responders continue to investigate the case.
