Mabank – Two Killed in Fatal Vehicle Accident on FM 90

At least two people died following a deadly head-on collision on Farm to Market Road 90 near County Road 4007, Tuesday afternoon.

At around 12:50 pm., local officers responded to FM 90 near Mabank to assist in a crash involving two vehicles. Initial investigation indicates that a vehicle had been traveling along the highway when, for yet unknown reasons, it crashed into a pickup truck. The impact of the crash killed both the driver and his passenger. They were pronounced deceased by emergency crews. They were only identified as a 20-year-old male and 18-year-old female.

No other injuries were reported.

Local investigators arrived at the scene to determine the reason that caused the driver of the vehicle to drift into the path of the truck.
