Mesquite – Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 635 Killed Rider

A motorcycle rider was found lifeless on Interstate 635 after a fatal crash last August 2, according to the report released by the Mesquite Police Department.
Police said that a 2008 Kawasaki ZX600 was seen traveling along the highway when it veered off the roadway and crashed into a concrete culvert. When they arrived at the 19000 block of the west service road of Highway 635, they found the rider with serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews. His identification has not yet been released pending notification of his next of kin.
No one else was injured.
Mesquite Police Department Traffic Unit is still determining the reason why the rider lost control and left the west service road.
A local news source said that this is the 6th fatality crash of 2019, resulting in six deaths, as compared to five fatality crashes for the same period in 2018, resulting in five deaths.
