Orange County law enforcement officials have released the couple who died in a deadly car accident on Highway 87.

The fatalities were identified as Harley Morgan, 19, and Rhiannon Boudreaux, 20.

According to initial reports, the tragic crash took place on Hwy 87 more than 20 miles east of Beaumont, Texas. The victims were in a 2004 Chevrolet pulling out of a parking lot when, for reasons that had not been determined, it was struck by a passing 2015 Ford F-250 pickup truck that was towing a trailer loaded with a tractor. The impact of the collision left the couple with serious injuries. They were eventually pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.

Authorities did not release information about the driver of the pickup truck.

No charges have been filed as the investigation is still ongoing.
