Orange – Vehicle Collision on Dupont Drive Leaves 1 Dead

The Orange County Police Department is investigating an auto crash on Dupont Drive in Orange that resulted in the death of one person, a local news source.

According to the report, the incident happened last Tuesday on Dupont Dr near Adams Bayou. A vehicle had been traveling along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it veered into the opposing lanes and crashed into a passing pickup truck. The force of the impact fatally injured the driver of the car, killing him in the process. The driver, who was only identified as a female driver, was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.

It was not confirmed if the driver of the truck was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
