San Angelo – Woman Injured in Fatal Pedestrian Collision on Beauregard Avenue

A woman was sent to a hospital after getting hit by a vehicle on Beauregard Avenue in San Angelo, according to a local news source.

Last October 3rd, emergency crews were dispatched to Beauregard Avenue after they received a call reporting a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. According to the report, a woman was on a designated crosswalk on Beauregard when a pickup truck struck her. Police said the pickup truck was making a turn from Magdalen Street when the incident happened. The pedestrian, who was identified only as a woman, sustained various injuries and was rushed to Shannon Medical Center for medical treatment. Her condition was not immediately released.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. It was not confirmed if he will be facing charges.

An investigation is still in progress.
