San Marcos – Two People Who Died in I-35 Crash Identified

The San Marcos Police Department has released the name of the victims who were killed in a deadly car accident on Interstate 35, according to a local news source.

The fatalities were identified as Orlando Valdez and Dana Watson.

Initial investigation shows that Valdez was driving a passenger car along Interstate 35, near Texas Highway 123, when it crashed into a dump truck. How the crash actually happened remains unclear at this time. The impact of the crash killed Valdez, driver of the passenger vehicle, and his passenger, Watson.

Police did not release information about the condition of the driver of the dump truck.

No arrests have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
