Sherman – Truck Collision on US 82 Injures 2

The Sherman Police Department is currently investigating a vehicle accident on Highway 82 which left two people injured last November 9, Wednesday.

According to the initial report, the incident occurred on Us 82, just east of State Highway 289. The circumstances leading up to the accident remain unclear at this time but police confirmed that it involved a dump truck and a paint truck. The drivers of the two cars were rushed to the hospital due to the injuries sustained from the impact. Their condition and identification were withheld pending notification of their next of kin.

No one else was injured.

Area investigators arrived at the scene to assist in the clearing of the scene. They have yet to determine the factors that contributed to the collision.
