Law enforcement officials said a car accident on County Road 253 caused the death of one woman, according to a local news source.

At around 10:30 a.m., police officials were dispatched to County Road 253 in response to a call reporting a vehicle accident involving two vehicles. A 2018 Toyota Rav 4 was seen traveling along the roadway when it collided with another car head-on. Police have yet to determine what caused the Toyota to crashed into the said vehicle.

The driver of the Toyota, identified only as an 83-year-old female driver, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. She has no passengers.

Whether the driver of the second vehicle was hurt or not was confirmed by local paramedics.

Area investigators arrived at the scene to help in the clearing.
