Taylor – Head-on Collision on Main Street Leaves 2 Killed, 1 Injured

At least two people were declared deceased in a fatal vehicle collision on South Main Street, Saturday night.

At around 8:40 p.m., local officials received a notification reporting a multi-vehicle accident at the 1100 block of South Main Street. According to the report, a van was backing in reverse when a passing SUV struck its rear, sending it into the roadway. A few moments later, a passing pickup truck then crashed into the van, killing its driver at the scene. A child passenger sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Dell Children’s Medical Center where he later died. The driver of the pickup truck also suffered from various injuries and was taken Seton Williamson County Hospital for treatment.

No identification was released at this time.

Police said the driver of the SUV was not injuries. They did not confirm if he will be facing charges.
