Victoria – Motorcyclist Killed in Fatal Car Crash on Houston Highway

Saturday morning, a deadly auto collision involving a motorcycle was reported on Houston Highway near Citizens Medical Center.

At around 2:30 a.m., a motorcycle was seen traveling in the inside lane of the highway at the 2700 block of Houston Highway when it collided with a truck that was pulling out of the parking lot of a private business. According to the initial investigation, the truck was making a left turn to go west on the highway when the incident happened.

The rider of the motorcycle was hurt and transported to the nearby hospital, Citizens Medical Center. Unfortunately, he later died at around 3:30 a.m. The driver of the truck was not injured by the force of the impact. His three passengers, who were all children, were also unharmed.

No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
