Waco – Passenger Killed in Fatal Auto Accident on I-35 Identified

The Texas Department of Public Safety released the name of the victim who died in a deadly car crash on Interstate 35, Monday.

He was identified as Rodolfo Guerra, 55, a resident of Mansfield.

Last Friday, a sport utility vehicle was traveling along the southbound lane of I-35 when it crashed into a construction sign, knocking it into the roadway. A pickup truck ran over the sign which caused a metal piece flew up, striking the windshield of the Ford passenger vehicle to which Guerra was a passenger in. Guerra suffered from significant injuries and was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.

The driver of the Ford was not injured.

Waco local police are investigating the crash. Anyone who has information about the case should get in contact with the authorities.
