West – Rear-End Crash on Tokio Rd

The West Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle crash on Tokio Road, Wednesday morning.

In an unspecified time in the evening, local officials received a call reporting a rear-end crash between a school bus and another car in a section of Tokio Rd near Willow Lane. How the crash actually happened has yet to be determined by responding officers but it was confirmed that the students were transferred to a second bus. The number of injured parties was not disclosed at this time.

Area investigators were also requested at the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. No charges have been made as the investigation is still ongoing.

Part of Tokio road, near Willow Lane was closed as crews worked to tow the damaged bus away.
