A 66-year-old Fort Worth man suffered from injuries after colliding with a reckless driver on US 81 in the New Fairview, last Friday afternoon.

Police said that the incident happened at around 2:15 p.m which involved a Ford F-350 pickup truck and a GMC Denali. The Ford was heading north when it tried to switch lanes only to crash into the GMC. The impact of the collision sent the GMC into the southbound lanes where it collided head-on with a Chevrolet pickup truck.

The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 66-year-old Jose Ochoa, was sent to a Fort Worth hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries was not disclosed. Meanwhile, Ford driver 65-year-old Frederick Hindman of Fort Worth did not suffer from any injury. He was taken into custody on two counts of intoxication assault.

No one else was injured.
