Wolfforth – Auto vs Pedestrian Crash on US 62/82

A man was sent to a hospital after getting hit by a car on US 62/82, Saturday.

According to police reports, the incident took place along the eastbound lane of US 62/82. A man was taking photos near a building on the south service US 62/82 when a passing pickup truck hit him. The impact of the crash injured the pedestrian whose name has not yet been released. He was immediately taken to University Medical Center where he received further care. The extent of his injuries was not immediately disclosed.

No one else was injured.

Local investigators arrived at the scene to determine liability. It was not confirmed if the driver of the pickup truck remained or escaped from the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
